Hamid’s Amazigh family has called the Moroccan desert home for generations. He grew up with the Sahara not as somewhere to visit, but as part of everyday life.
Today, he gets to share that Morocco with people from around the world.
Hamid knows the roads worth taking, the places worth stopping and the people you’ll be glad you met. His team will take you to the Morocco you came to see — the medinas, mountains, kasbahs and Sahara — but they'll also show you their Morocco: favourite places, local discoveries and those unexpected stops that somehow become the stories you tell when you get home.
You’re not simply being shown Morocco. For a little while, you get to experience it with someone who belongs here.
There’s no bus full of people glaring at you because you’ve taken too long.
Want to try on another dress? Go ahead.
Need the hundredth selfie? Hamid will wait.
Want to go back to the first shop because you’ve decided that actually was the rug? Turn around.
Another sunset photo? Absolutely.
Need to stop because you saw a cat?
Obviously, we stop for the cat.
Hamid and his team members have an almost supernatural amount of patience & a great data plan. Your trip moves at your pace — not the pace of a tour bus, a timetable or thirty strangers waiting in the lobby.
Take the picture. Browse the shop. Drink the tea. Pet the cat. They'll be waiting patiently a few steps away looking something like this.... take your time.
You came all this way. You might as well enjoy it. Hamid and his crew don't mind.

We’re not entirely sure where Hamid developed this extraordinary level of patience.
But we have a theory.
His family has lived in the Moroccan desert for generations, and somewhere along the way, someone clearly taught him that people are worth making time for.
So when Hamid waits while you reconsider the rug, photograph the sunset again, or stop everything for a particularly charming cat, we suspect we know who deserves at least some of the credit.
Thanks, Mama. You did good.
Morocco will give you plenty to remember — the mountains, the medinas, the Sahara, the food and those sunsets you took far too many photographs of. But the best trips tend to leave you with something else: people you’re genuinely glad you met.
That’s what Hamid hopes to share with every traveller who comes his way. Not simply a tour of Morocco, but a little piece of the place he calls home.
Come see Morocco with Hamid. There’s always room for one more friend.

Come along for desert sunsets, hidden corners of Morocco and a little everyday magic along the way
